I have worked in the field of stress management for over 15 years, and have a thorough understanding of the impact that stress, chronic ailments and physical pain can have on both the body and the mind.
The impact of daily life is felt both physically and emotionally, with many of us unable to recall a time when we were free of aches and pains, concerns about the impact of stress on our health, or suffering from a general lack of energy and drive. Often patterns of ill health such as migraines, panic attacks, physical discomfort and mild depression are so deeply embedded within us they begin to feel part of our makeup, or something we put up with, tackling occasionally with medication or a self-help book only to find ourselves back where we started, fed up and demoralised.
My role as a therapist is to guide you to wellness, health and vitality, to teach you simple but effective techniques for releasing tension and anxiety, and to leave you feeling more confident, wiser and empowered about your health. I draw from many years of experience and training to ensure that each client gets what is right for them.
Whether you are looking to reduce the impact of stress and the many debilitating conditions it can bring, or to address structural complaints such as stiff neck and shoulders, back pain or poor posture then please get in touch.
I am a member of The British Wheel of Yoga and have a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Mindfulness Based Approaches from Bangor University.
